Our Work

What inspired us to tackle an issue like this?

Our inspiration for creating a game that tackles this subject matter comes from the growing issue of water & ocean pollution.  Ocean pollution occurs when harmful sources of pollution reach waterways that enter the Ocean. Each day, thousands of pounds of trash are dumped into the ocean.  It is estimated that for every square mile of water, there is approximately 45,000 pieces of trash in that area.  It is important to take care of our water ways and oceans because the oceans provide us with 50% of the air we breathe and provide us with many ingredients used in the medicines to cure various diseases.

Bonzai Pipeline Adventure

Back Story

You’ll play as Big Wave Dave, an environmentalist, who noticed trash being dumped improperly into his home beach of Bonzai Pipeline, right off the North Shore of O’ahu.  As Dave prepares and trains for the Olympic debut of surfing in 2020, he finds it more and more difficult to master his surfing skills with the increased presence of trash and other garbage in his home waters.  It’s your task to maneuver Dave around rock, shark, and stone filled waters and collect the floating pieces of garbage, and be careful, you only have three lives! As you collect trash, your score will increase and you will clean up Bonzai Pipeline so that the color of the water restores to the beautiful, translucent, blue color that it once was.
